LeeBoy launches three new asphalt and soil rollers

Written By Mariah Moore

After a period of absence, LeeBoy’s launch of three new rollers has brought them back into the compaction market. Earlier this year, LeeBoy unveiled a new asphalt hot box and plate compactor, but without mentioning upcoming rollers—this latest launch was a much-welcomed surprise to many. These new products, complementing the current paving equipment line, include the BR36 vibratory asphalt roller, the BR48 asphalt roller, and the SR48 single-drum soil roller.

BR36 Asphalt Roller

The BR36 Vibratory Asphalt Roller is designed for the most streamlined compaction. With a drum width of 35.5 inches and a centrifugal force of 3,825 lbs, the vibratory system quickly settles asphalt materials and enhances overall work efficiency.

This roller uses a Honda engine to provide reliable power and durability for workers on long jobs. It has a water tank capacity of 31.7 gallons, and the hydrostatic transmission provides top-notch smoothness, allowing maximum control over direction and speed. This roller is ideal for compaction asphalt surfaces and was produced to combine power, reliability, and ease of use for the toughest asphalt construction and maintenance work.

BR36 features

  • 35.5-inch steel asphalt drum
  • 20.8 hp Honda GX630 @3600 RPM
  • Centrifugal force of 3,825 lbf
  • Hydrostatic hand lever transmission, forward and reverse
  • Stainless steel spray bar with adjustable nozzles
  • Vibration frequency of 4,000 vpm
  • Front and rear work lights
  • Water tank capacity of 31.7 gallons

BR48 Asphalt Roller

The LeeBoy BR48 Asphalt Roller offers a larger 47.2-inch steel asphalt drum, combining unmatched precision and efficiency. The 43.5 horsepower Yanmar engine provides optimal performance, and the vibration frequency is only 4,200 pm.

This roller has dual-function travel levers to ensure easy maneuverability and utmost control. Thanks to the oversized water tank, handling should be easy for users and can power through lengthy jobs. The BR48 is made for superior compaction results and is set to solidify a new standard for rolling technology in the market.

BR48 features

  • 43.5 hp Yanmar @ 3000 RPM
  • Centrifugal force of 6,800 lbf
  • 47.2-inch steel asphalt drum
  • Vibration frequency of 4,200 vpm
  • Water tank capacity of 52.8 gallons
  • Front and rear work lights
  • Stainless steel spray bar with adjustable nozzles
  • Awning kit
  • Hydrostatic hand lever transmission, forward and reverse

SR48 Soil Roller

The SR48 Soil Roller is LeeBoy’s final release and Yanmar engine-powered. It is designed to be a robust single-drum soil roller that packs power and performs superiorly. The drum is 47.2 inches and supports compaction over various outdoor terrains. This roller can grade up to 55% and has an optional padfoot shell kit for customizable work execution. With a centrifugal force of 19,109 lbs, the SR48 ensures powerful performance that’s still smooth enough to be comfortable for users. This machine combines both productivity and reliability.

SR48 features

  • Maximum centrifugal force of 19,109 lbf
  • 47 hp Yanmar @ 3000 RPM
  • Vibration frequency of 2,460 vpm
  • 47.2-inch steel asphalt drum
  • Optional dozer blade
  • Optional padfoot drum shell
  • Hydrostatic hand lever transmission, forward and reverse
