Bosch Home Appliances at CES 2026 showed a new range of connectivity and AI features. Bosch also took the time to introduce Bosch Cook AI—an AI system that is capable of giving you real-time cooking advice and orchestrating the whole process through the Home Connect ecosystem. This signals a change from smart appliances that do what they’re told to machines that actually help you tackle all of your kitchen tasks.
Bosch’s presence at CES 2026 showed how serious they are about pushing the boundaries of smart appliances. Bosch Cook AI brings together Bosch’s ace sensor tech, cutting-edge machine learning, and a top-notch user experience within the Home Connect app to give you all the guidance you need while you’re cooking.
Bosch’s CES booth didn’t stop at software demos. They also gave us a look at the new, impressive, and high-tech appliances, like the first-ever Bosch Unlimited 9 and 10 cordless stick vacuums that are heading to North America. These vacuum cleaners feature MicroClean technology to remove tiny particles and come with a 10-year motor guarantee. This warranty length is a real vote of confidence in the power of their hardware.
Bosch Cook AI and connected kitchen guidance: How it works in real-time
At CES, Bosch unveiled their AI powered tech in the real world with Chef Marcel Vigneron using a Bosch induction cooktop and the auto-chef function combined with Cook AI. While he was cooking the AI was instructing him with step-by-step instructions on how to cook a steak which included the time of cooking, temperature, and type of seasoning to use. This demonstration showcased how the kitchen can feel less overwhelming for beginner cooks and more like a place where you feel empowered.

Bosch Cook AI works like a conversation—users snap a photo of the ingredients they’ve got on hand, set what they want to achieve (perhaps a steak cooked to their exact liking), and the system gives them real-time guidance through the Home Connect app. As Bosch spokesperson Hal explained at CES, Bosch appliances offer “compatibility with things like Amazon Alexa and Google Home, they allow me to use my voice. So I can use my voice and say, ‘Hey Alexa, preheat my oven to 350 degrees.’”
This more interactive approach is a departure from the connected appliances that let you start them using an app on your phone, wishing you could be more involved. Bosch is staking a lot on the idea that a contextual, adaptive guide will make a much bigger difference—and it’s powered by machine learning from each device’s sensor data. For instance, as you’re actually cooking, the AI kicks in again, adjusting the settings and giving you step-by-step instructions in the app so you don’t have to second-guess your cooking all day long. The result is consistent results even with the trickiest recipes.
The Bosch Home Connect app will come standard in Bosch dishwashers, ovens, fridges, washers and dryers, and even espresso machines. The Bosch 800 Series fully automatic espresso machines pairs with Amazon’s Alexa+ natural language AI. With this integration, users can talk to their coffee maker as though they were speaking to a barista. For example, asking it to brew a specific espresso or latte without touching a button. This new “Personal AI Barista” capability builds on Bosch’s existing Home Connect system and aims to make daily coffee routines more seamless and personalized. According to Bosch spokesperson Hal, users will be able to access “something called Coffee World in the app, which is basically coffee recipes from around the world.”
Cordless stick vacuums and hardware highlights
At CES 2026, the North American market also got its first look at the Bosch Unlimited 9 and Unlimited 10 cordless stick vacuums. These two new vacuums use MicroClean sensor technology, which can detect tiny particles down to 0.3 microns. There’s also the MicroClean LED Ring, which visually indicates when the surface is truly spotless. These vacuums also boast high-efficiency brushless motors and a 10-year motor warranty, which is a clear statement of intent: a reliable, high-performing product rather than just another budget option in a crowded market.
This recent product rollout shows that Bosch is putting effort into physical product innovations that align with their reputation for top-notch engineering. The vacuums fit nicely into the broader picture of their connected home products, and drive home the idea that the things we take for granted around the house can be made smarter and more intuitive, adapting to our needs and sending us useful feedback to help make life a little bit easier.
Final thoughts
Bosch’s CES 2026 announcements were all about a shift in consumer technology and making it easier to use. These machines will adapt to what you need and provide practical advice, bringing together Bosch’s expertise in sensors with a much smarter AI. The launch of Bosch’s suite of AI powered appliances shows where this industry is heading. It’s an attractive option for buyers to now choose one brand name to keep everything connected. This same approach could be seen by the industry as a whole.
Will 2026 be a turning point when AI in appliances are no longer just some flashy bonus? Or will they become a must have feature that changes the way people live in their homes?
Our bets are on the latter.
