Whether you’re looking to stay ahead in infrastructure, cooling, or AI workloads, the top data center conferences and data center trade shows around the world bring the industry’s brightest minds under one roof. Below are the eight most anticipated events, listed by date, featuring cutting-edge programming, networking, and hands-on forums.

Top data center conferences in the world in 2025

1. Data Centre World London

  • Location: ExCeL London, UK
  • Dates: March 12–13, 2025

Data Centre World London remains one of the largest and most influential data center trade shows, drawing over 15,000 participants and 300 exhibitors. The dual-track conference addresses real-world topics: sustainability policies, liquid cooling adoption, AI infrastructure adoption, and network resilience. Breakout sessions feature CTO-level speakers from operators like Equinix or BT, and specialist technology showcases focus on rack-level efficiency, cable management, modular builds, power optimization, and micro data halls.

The expo floor includes live demos of airborne pathogen filters, green energy power kits, and closed-loop cooling booths. Unique attractions include the Innovation Theatre, Sustainability Awards Gala, and “Women in Data Centers” leadership panel. Workshops on capacity planning, site retrofits, and policy evolution offer actionable takeaways for facility teams, executives, and investors.

2. Data Centre LIVE (Virtual)

  • Location: Online

This four-day North American gathering remains central for on-site labs, panel discussions, and a massive expo with 400+ booths. The agenda centers on topics such as liquid immersion cooling, AI server clusters, edge facility planning, and automation. Labs include hands-on rack builds led by certified instructors, troubleshooting sessions from peer operators, and code-compliance deep dives.

The expo has thermal camera demos from cooling system vendors, electrical distributors offering data hall upgrades, and cybersecurity suppliers showcasing OT protection. Executive networking breakfasts, “come pitch to investors” stages, and investor-led roundtables add value for CTOs, operations directors, and funding stakeholders. The interactive format brings real-world vendor insights to technical teams designing next-gen data halls.

4. TechEx North America

  • Location: Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California, USA
  • Dates: June 4–5, 2025

TechEx puts its Data Centres expo alongside seven partner shows—AI Infrastructure, Edge Deployments, Energy & Power, Digital Transformation, and more. This multitrack event includes 120+ technical sessions, keynote talks led by CTOs (AstraZeneca, Bank of America), and vendor panels on AI-ready cooling, hyperscale architecture, and high-performance network fabrics.

The IoT & Data Center Forum within TechEx explores open compute boards and 400‑G networks. Exhibitors include AWS data lab ecosystems, Google AI racks, Schneider Electric power pods, and smaller modular cooling systems. Attendee extras include guided tours of nearby hyperscale campuses, early-morning UI/UX sessions on DCIM tools, and mentoring lounges connecting newcomers with seasoned IT architects.

5. Datacloud Global Congress (Monaco)

  • Location: Grimaldi Forum, Monaco
  • Dates: June 17–19, 2025

With ~2,000 delegates, the Datacloud Global Congress brings together investors, government reps, hyperscalers, and campus providers. The agenda centers on financiers and planners, covering M&A in facility infrastructure, cross-border finance models, telecom link strategies, and build zone policy. Speakers include CIOs from enterprise data providers and sovereign wealth fund chairs. Breakout tracks include “Interconnect economics” and “Regulation & global deployment.”

In parallel, a startup pavilion displays micro data hall prototypes, energy vaults, and intelligent power units. The program encourages networking with major financial institutions and real estate developers exploring data center exposure.

6. Data Centres Expo Europe

  • Location: RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands
  • Dates: September 24–25, 2025

The Data Centres Expo Europe targets European operators and sustainability specialists, with two days of programming on carbon-neutral campuses, sustainability regulations, prefabricated halls, grid capacity management, and edge nodes. Over 200 sessions include EU Commission policy briefings, grid resiliency talks, and green campus deployment case studies.

The expo floor highlights precision cooling systems, containerized modular offerings, DCIM intelligence demos, and solar-integrated power systems. In Amsterdam, attendees can tour local energy-efficient builds. The conference emphasizes benchmarking modular-warehouse scale projects and hosts panel sessions comparing EU country-by-country build environments.

7. Data Centre World Asia

  • Location: Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
  • Dates: October 8–9, 2025

This flagship APAC data center trade show brings together over 300 exhibitors and 180 international speakers to address key challenges in cloud computing, AI workloads, DCIM strategies, and green logistics. Four conference tracks cover high-density cooling, infrastructure optimization, investment trends, and regulatory compliance.

Notable sessions include “Data center as national security infrastructure” with Singapore authorities, “Financing edge campuses in ASEAN,” and angles on power tariffs and carbon reduction targets. The expo includes live edge node setups and IoT-enabled telemetry booths. Evening receptions, in-market supplier tables, and regional site visits promote inter-Asia partnerships and co-location alliances.

8. OCP Global Summit

  • Location: San Jose, California, USA

From trade shows to jobsite strategy

Data is a significant cost driver for infrastructure projects. These data center conferences offer insight into green cooling, open-hardware cost-saving, AI integration, and flexible edge builds. Aligning internal roadmaps with upcoming capacity expansion (2026–2028) means using show intel now to set specs and vendor shortlists. Many shows post slides and recordings afterward, which is good for absent colleagues and for reviewing later.

Whether you’re sourcing racks and energy systems, scouting edge footprint expansion, or lining up investors around your build plans, these data center conferences and trade shows shape 2025’s corridor of infrastructure development. Add at least two events in your annual plan to stay informed about hardware, sustainability, automation, and capital alignment.
