Liebherr is making a massive splash at CONEXPO 2026 by showcasing over 30 machines across two huge booths in Las Vegas. This article explores their “Hands on the future” theme, which highlights everything from live equipment demos to new digital tools designed for the modern jobsite. We’ll also look at Liebherr’s long-term commitment to North America and the specific machines that are driving the industry toward a more electrified and automated future.
Liebherr returns to CONEXPO as one of the show’s largest exhibitors, taking up more than 66,000 square feet of space. Their presence is split between two main areas: booth F35055 for general equipment and booth P7761 in the Platinum lot for deep foundation technology. The core of their exhibit is the “Hands on the future” theme, which showcases how digital tools and new machine designs can solve real problems for contractors today.

Machines in motion and live demonstrations
Rather than just looking at static displays, visitors can see Liebherr equipment in action several times a day. One of the stars of the show is the TA 230 Litronic articulated dump truck, which will be part of the live demo team. Other machines you can see moving include the R 914 Compact excavator and the PR 716 crawler dozer. These demos are designed to show how operator assistance systems and new drive technologies work under real conditions.

Electrification and digital transformation
Liebherr is also highlighting its push toward a greener jobsite with the LH 60 M Industry E. This electrically powered material handler operates quietly and produces no exhaust, making it ideal for indoor or urban work. On the digital side, a dedicated technology pavilion will showcase tools like MyLiebherr for fleet management and Crane Planner 2.0 for 3D site planning. Visitors can even try out a simulator to see how these digital services make operating heavy machinery safer and more efficient.
A long-term investment in North America
The huge exhibit at CONEXPO is part of a much bigger plan. Liebherr has been active in the U.S. since 1970 and continues to expand its presence. Recent investments include a new logistics and distribution center in Tupelo, Mississippi, which will be their first major hub outside of Europe. This facility is designed to get parts and support to American contractors faster than ever. By investing in local manufacturing and services, Liebherr is proving it is here to stay and will support the professionals who build our infrastructure.
