Meet TradeTek 2.0, the new and improved construction estimating software

Construction takeoff and estimating software company TradeTek has announced its latest software update, TradeTek 2.0. Platform improvements include image editing, pattern libraries, and added administrative controls. TradeTek Cloud offers cloud-based estimating capabilities, and TradeTek Shared allows users to work on the same project across two computers.

TradeTek provides powerful software to make project estimating easy. Users can generate projects from plan images and navigate through each page—with the ability to pan, scale, and zoom in and out to view specific features. TradeTek’s built-in platform tools allow users to capture project quantities and calculate materials and labor items. Users can create custom reports to export to Excel, PDF, or CSV by building or importing lists of items and prices.

TradeTek 2.0 has added new features to its platform, which include:

  • Pattern libraries
  • Image editing
  • Enhanced plan drawing and markup abilities
  • Improved sorting and filtering features
  • Added administrative controls
  • Batch commands and optimizations

TradeTek’s new cloud component connects desktop and mobile users, bringing the platform to the job site. The TradeTek cloud portal allows multiple users to access projects, jobs, reports, budgets, and invoices wherever they are and provides real-time updated information.

In addition to the new cloud capability, TradeTek Shared allows a single user to access the platform on two desktop computers, such as in the office or on the job site. The second computer has the same user preferences, jobs, and trade-specific bundles, making it easy for estimators to pick up where they left off.

With these updates, TradeTek has modernized its platform to meet the needs of modern construction teams, making it ideal for general contractors, estimators, and project managers who need efficient and collaborative estimating tools for large construction projects.
