New Holland releases new E70D midi excavator

New Holland has released the E70D, a mid-sized excavator designed to deliver substantial power in a compact package. It has 60 hp of digging force in a compact 82-inch-wide frame, and the 17.7-inch tracks allow it to maneuver with agility in confined areas, making it ideal for urban construction projects and agricultural applications.

According to Dan Kakareka, New Holland Construction North America product manager, this new addition to the excavator lineup will give its operators a powerful boost. “This machine isn’t just about doing the job—it’s about transforming how it’s done,” Kakareka says. “With its powerful digging force, hydraulic performance and lift capacity and automotive-style cab design, the E70D is set to redefine expectations and bring a new level of performance and efficiency for operators working in agriculture and construction segments.”

In addition to its Goldilocks size, the E70D offers a 13.4” dig depth, a 14.7” dump height, and a weight of just over 16,000 pounds. Equipped with a 22.5-gallon fuel tank, it can minimize downtime to refuel, while the signature mono boom design offers superior agility for operators working in tight spaces.

The E70D also offers multiple customization options, allowing operators to tailor the machine to each project and task. Operators can add 1000-lb counterweights to increase stability, and New Holland carries several optional attachments for the excavator, including buckets, augers, mulchers, and grapples, extending its use far beyond excavations. Just like every project is different, every operator is, too. The E70D allows operators to fine-tune the hydraulic response and sensitivity of the joystick to suit their individual preferences.

The E70D mid-excavator’s safety features include rearview cameras, LED lights, and backup alarms. A 5-year advanced telematics subscription allows users to access up-to-date information about the machine’s performance and schedule maintenance.

New Holland introduces ML35T and ML50T loaders

New Holland Construction has added two new small articulated loaders (SAL)—ML35T and ML50T—to its lineup, designed for performance, durability, and safety.

In a press release from New Holland, Product Manager Dan Kakareka said, “The new ML35T and ML50T SALs enable owners and operators to accomplish more while delivering reliability and performance when it matters most on the job site. With impressive telescopic reach, industry-leading hinge pin height, and top-notch features, these SAL models are the real deal for simplifying complex tasks and achieving project milestones faster.”

    Performance in tight spaces

The ML35T and ML50T loaders have increased elongation with telescopic booms, which makes them ideal for working in small spaces where extended reach is needed horizontally and vertically. Their compact design, low clearance, and balanced weight assist in safe maneuvering.

    Designed for safety

The ML35T and ML50T SAL models include robust safety features to protect operators, including Roll-over Protective Structure (ROPS) certification and Falling Object Protective Structure (FOPS) certification.

The design of the ML50T also reduces the risk of rolls with its front oscillation joint, which increases loader stability by allowing the front axle to move independently from the rear axle. This ensures operators maintain all four points of contact with the ground, even on rough or uneven surfaces. Both loaders feature rear-articulation positions and zero-cab swing, making it easy to maneuver without collisions.

The loaders also offer several features to increase visibility on the job site, including road light kits, LED lights, backup alarms, and rotating beacons.

    Durability and easy repairs

The ML35T and ML50T loaders are built for durability with steel parts and reinforced booms, but New Holland also makes it simple to conduct maintenance and repairs. Service points are labeled and located at ground level, and grease surfaces and engine compartments are easily accessible when needed.

“Our customers and their operators spend a considerable amount of time in these machines,” said Kakareka. “With the new ML35T and ML50T SALs, we’re going above and beyond to elevate the machine experience, so operators can tackle jobs safely and comfortably.”
