Turner Construction’s expansion of the C Concourse at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has reached the end of vertical construction, with steel topping out completed and a $260 million milestone reached. 

The project, set for completion in 2026, spans six stories and over 226,000 square feet, adding four additional levels to the existing building and offering an elevated flyer experience. Key project highlights include a meditation room, a rooftop photovoltaic array, a nursing room, and two airfield observation decks. The new floors will also expand the airport’s dining and retail options, add additional seating, and provide 1,300 sq ft of extra waiting area for passengers.

This is the first project at Sea-Tac to include the Port of Seattle’s Sustainable Evaluation Framework. The project also adheres to the Port Century Agenda’s sustainability goals. The construction project is set to achieve LEED Gold status, which reflects its innovative integration of energy-conscious systems and eco-friendly elements. LEED is a globally recognized scoring system for the sustainability of buildings by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
